My Work Style
I recently had the pleasure of capturing the lovely couple Simone and Peter on their special day in York. Their love of the York Minster meant we went on a little tour of York finding all the incredible line of sights. The stunning Minster provided the perfect backdrop for their Wedding Photos and I couldn't wait to capture all of the beautiful moments.
From the moment Simone and Peter arrived at the registry office, I knew it was going to be a day to remember. They both looked absolutely stunning, with Simone in a self made lace dress and Peter in a classic Scottish kilt.

I started the day with some pre-ceremony shots, bridal prep and groom prep with most of the wedding party all getting ready on location aswell.
As the ceremony approached, i got some more candid shots of the everyone. The excitement was palpable, and i was thrilled to be a part of such a special day. Once the ceremony began, we discreetly captured all of the important moments, from the exchange of vows to the first kiss as a married couple.

After the ceremony, and before we heading into the stunning Eagle and Child for the wedding breakfast we took some shots of Simone and Peter around the York Minster. The Minster provided the perfect backdrop for some stunning shots, and we couldn't resist taking advantage of the beautiful scenery in the gardens. From the intricate stonework to the soaring spires, every angle of the York Minster was picture-perfect. With the weather predicted to be raining we were shocked it turned out into a perfect summers day. And made time to go back out later in the evening to get some sunset shots.

As the day wore on in the Eagle and Child, we continued to capture all of the special moments, from the first dance to the cutting of the cake. And a particular special shot of simone looking out the window with the incredible view of the Minster behind.

Simone and Peter were such a joy to work with, and their love for each other was evident in every shot we took.
Overall, it was an incredible day, and i feel so lucky to have been a part of it. I couldn’t wait to share these beautiful photos with Simone and Peter, and I’m excited to follow what the future brings for them. Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day!
